This video covers some of the worst excavation accidents of 2004. Viewers see an on-the-scene portrayal of a backhoe hit on a jet fuel line in Walnut Creek CA that killed five workers. This 20-minute video also covers a Belgium pipeline explosion that killed 24 and injured 100, a gas pipeline explosion near Madrid IA, two Dallas TX firefighters overcome by gas while responding to pipeline damage, an Evansville IN gas explosion that killed two, a water main hit that flooded streets in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a gas explosion in Hammond IN, a worker injured by gas explosion near Detroit, a Philadelphia gas main inferno that made national news, and two homes destroyed in a gas explosion in Fairfax, OK. The video also revisits the 2003 gas explosion that killed seven in Toronto. The son of one of the victims appears on camera to give his personal account of the accident and its aftermath.

Digging Dangers XV: Digger Nightmares Continued: VHS

Accidents occurring during 2003 are covered by DD video-Digging Dangers XV, Digger Nightmares continued. These accidents happened in Massachusetts, Ontario, Indiana, Georgia, New Mexico, Delaware and California. The worst accident depicted killed seven people when a strip mall in Toronto was leveled by a gas explosion after the mall's unmarked service line was damaged by an excavator. This new 15-minute video also revisits a 1998 accident in Attleboro MA. The families of two city workers killed in a gas explosion there received the highest cash settlement in Massachusetts history. The objective of the Digging Dangers videos is to raise awareness of what is happening, so that viewers can take steps to keep it from happening to them.

Digging Dangers XIV: Underground Traps

Digging Dangers XIV features excavation accidents which occurred during 2002 in Tennessee, Colorado, California, Oklahoma, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Canada. Included is an accident near Edmonton, Alberta, where an elderly couple were killed in a gas explosion after the man drove a steel stake through his home's gas service line while building a retaining wall. A 1997 Indianapolis IN accident is revisited, which involved a 20-inch gas pipeline that damaged by a directional bore. One person was killed and 80 homes either destroyed or damaged when the escaping gas ignited. The fire footage is spectacular.

The New Mexico Accident killed 12 people and was labeled as the worst pipeline accident in many years. A cable cut in Minnesota affected Northwest Airlines flights around the world. In Texas, a policeman driving home from work died when his car ignited a cloud of propane gas drifting across a highway after a bulldozer damaged a pipeline.

Digging Dangers X: Deadly Surprises - VHS Only

This fast paced 8-minute video covers 12 accidents involving excavator damage to underground lines within a 12-month period. Included are gas explosions in Massachusetts, Minnesota and Texas that killed eight people and injured dozens. Most of the fatalities were utility workers, but one was a daycare provider and another was an equipment operator. Others were private citizens who just happened to be nearby when the explosions occurred. These, and other accidents including one in Chicago that burned a 15-story building, are resulting in legislative activity in several states. DDX also contains a water incident where millions of gallons gushing from a transmission main flooded a Philadelphia neighborhood.
