About World of Training

World of Training is designed to enhance damage prevention programs, reduce underground utility accidents and to help prevent disaster when accidents occur.

World of Training brings together personnel from utilities, excavating companies, safety organizations and first responders in order to increase awareness, train workers and build partnerships in damage prevention and disaster prevention.

World of Training focuses on educating industry personnel by using a utility cross-training approach. This method allows workers to learn about the other utilities they work around and the dangers involved in digging around those facilities.

World of Training consists of a two-pronged approach to training - short courses and workshops.
