Great article.  As an excavator I know that lots of lines are mismarked, that's why we send our Vac Truck ahead of the digging crews. I also know that many of the locators in NC have little training and too many tickets.  I can verify the marks but without marks I have very little idea as to what to look for.  When UF hits my desk everything else has to wait.
